We’re excited to host another amazing dinner, this time at Mayur, voted one of the best Indian Restaurants in Amsterdam.
The chefs at Mayur Indian Restaurant offer a wide variety of traditional North Indian dishes. Through the window of their open kitchen you can see the chefs at work.
The highest quality meats (lamb, chicken and of course fish) are marinated for twenty-four hours before being grilled to perfection in red-hot charcoal in our traditional Tandoor oven.Chef Pramod Sharma settled down in Amsterdam in the late 1970s. After working for several years, he realised his dream by opening Mayur in 1981. One of the first Indian restaurants in the Netherlands.His philosophy was, and still is, simple: to introduce traditional North Indian dishes to his Dutch guests, in a warm atmosphere, as if one were "coming to eat at home".
