Izakaya style restaurant with a welcoming casual atmosphere

The beauty of this place, is that it was recommended by another Share host, Michael who hosted two groups here. He's American, grew up in Hawaii and has Japanese roots. The perfect person to find such a place...

And if one day, when we're back here with a Share table, remind me to tell you the full story of my first experience. The food is sooo good, that a guest, hid a full platter of sashimi under a napkin so as not to share. We had to wrestle the platter from the guest which luckily for all of us remained upright. Of course the night could only end one way - with late night cocktails hosted by another Share guest.

Yet for you, if and when you go, Kyō was established because of a need for more Japanese Izakaya-style restaurants. A place where you can unwind with friends in a casual atmosphere while enjoying authentic Japanese food with a great selection of sake or Japanese beer.
