About the event
It’s freezing cold and when thinking of a warm and cozy group dinner, fondue surely wins the day.
In 1973 the van Wees family opened “Proeflokaal A. Van Wees” at Herengracht 319 in Amsterdam. At that time it was still called “the Admiral”.
Now, nearly half a century later, “Proeflokaal A. Van Wees” is the prime monumental spot to get acquainted with Amsterdam’s widely known genever culture while enjoying traditional food or having a beer from the barrel.Appropriate with their drinks they offer a good traditional kitchen, including their famous Dutch cheese fondue (also includes vegetables), their famous Zeeland Mussels and their homemade beef stew, plus much more on the menu if not a fondue lover.- Dine with like like minded, fun professional peeps, both International and Dutch, normally aged between 35 and 50
